Sergio Pérez surpassed Mark Webbers mark of 130 races before a first win at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix with a dramatic race win on the 190th attempt of trying. The race was strewn with incidents, one of which Sergio Pérez was involved in, a crash on lap 1 left the Mexican driver in last place in which he battled through the field to claim his maiden Formula One win. This was almost 10 years on from his debut race at the 2011 Australian Grand Prix and nearly 50 years since the last Mexican Formula One Grand Prix winner.
