The most individual all-around gold medals won at the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships is four, achieved by Dina Averina (Russia) in 2017–19 and 2021.
The all-around competition at the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships involves each competitor performing in four separate gymnastics disciplines chosen from a possible five – rope, ball, ribbon, hoop and clubs – with each being marked individually. The winner is the competitor with the highest combined score at the end of the four events. Averina secured a record fourth consecutive all-around title at the 2021 World Championships in Kitakyushu, Japan. Her margin of victory was 3.1 points, her largest yet for the all-around world title. It was her 18th gold medals overall at the championship – also a record.
