Natascha Keller (Germany) won 425 international field hockey caps from 1994 to 2012. The forward, who made her senior debut for Germany in 1994, scored 204 goals and appeared at five Olympic Games, winning a gold medal in Athens, Greece, in 2004. Keller, 35, played her final international match when Germany defeated South Korea 4-1 at London 2012 on 8 August.
Keller played six matches at London 2012 but failed to add to her goal tally of 204. She did, however, set up a goal for team-mate Marie Mavers with her final touch in the 4-1 win over South Korea.
Keller's 425 international caps were won in both indoor and outdoor matches.
In 2004, Keller became the fourth of five members of her family to claim an Olympic hockey medal. Her grandfather Erwin won silver in 1936, father Carsten won gold in 1972, step-brother Andreas won medals in 1984 (silver), 1988 (silver) and 1992 (gold) and younger brother Florian won a gold in 2008.
Keller was the flag-bearer at the London 2012 opening ceremony - the first time Germany awarded the honour to a hockey player.
