Most wins of the WKF World Karate Championships kata class (female)

The most individual kata titles to have been won is four by Yuki Mimura (Japan) 1988, 1990, 1992 and 1996; and Atsuko Wakai (Japan) in 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2004. Atsuko Wakai sent in confirmation documents of the record in order to certify her claim of equalling Yuki Mimura's record.
