The most wins of the Netball World Cup is 12, achieved by Australia in 1963, 1971, 1975, 1979, 1983, 1991, 1995, 1999, 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2023.
First held in 1963, the Netball World Cup was known as the Netball World Championships until 2011. Australia secured its 12th title at the 2023 edition, defeating England 61–45 in the final on 6 August in Cape Town, South Africa. The only other nations to win the Netball World Cup are New Zealand (1967, 1979, 1987, 2003 and 2019) and Trinidad and Tobago (1979). There was a three-way tie for the championship in 1979.
