The largest donation of chicken is 2,000 tonnes, and was achieved by Tahya Misr Fund (Egypt), in Cairo, Egypt, on 18 November 2020


Tahya Misr Fund could successfully achieve the Guinness World Records title of the largest chicken donation in the world, according to the Guinness World Records standard guidelines, after organizing a convoy of 2,000 tons of poultry, which was distributed to one million needy families in various governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

This came as part of a campaign organized by the Fund entitled “We Share for tomorrow”, aiming to providing foodstuffs, winter clothes and blankets for a million families during the winter season, in a huge campaign in which hundreds of youth volunteers participated to distribute the convoy items to deserving families in the needy villages in Egypt. The distributed aid worth of one billion EGP.

On Friday, November 20, 2020, the convoy was set off to villages in need in 27 governorates in the Arab Republic of Egypt, to distribute poultry to those in need, with the participation of a large number of civil society organizations working in Egypt that participated in distributing poultry to families to ensure the speedy delivery of the convoy items.

It is worth noting that the Tahy Misr Fund is based on donations.. It works through donations to provide social support, health care and economic development for needy families in the villages of Egypt, in partnership with various community and volunteer work institutions to ensure access to deserving families of various types of support, especially in the winter season, as well as in Corona pandemic (Covid-19).

It is worth noting that the "We Share for tomorrow" campaign, the largest humanitarian convoy in the world, has also achieved two other Guinness World Records titles, with the largest donation of hunger relief packages, as well as the largest parade of trucks in the world.
