Puerto Rican reggaetón singer Miguelito (b. Miguel Angel Valenzuela Morales, 5 Jan 1999) was 9 years 313 days old when he won the award for Best Latin Children’s Album (El Heredero) at the 9th Annual Latin Grammy Awards on 13 November 2008.

Miguelito was also the youngest person to be nominated for a Latin Grammy. Ahead of the 8th Annual Latin Grammy Awards on 8 November 2007, his debut album Más Grande Que Tú was one of five releases nominated in the Best Latin Children’s Album category. The nominations were announced on 29 August 2007, when he was 8 years 236 days old.

Miguelito twice featured in Billboard’s trend-setting “21 Under 21” list of the most promising musical talent under the age of 21. In 2011, aged 12, he was ranked No.20 and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, while in 2013, aged 14, he ranked at No.14 alongside One Direction, Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande. “Pint-sized reggaetón star Miguelito is not only a Latin Grammy winner and regular on the Billboard charts, he's also a veritable branding machine,” reported the magazine in 2011. In 2013, Billboard added: “Miguelito is the rare child star in the Latin music realm. But he's fast growing up.”

Miguelito was on the comeback trail in 2020 with the release of his seventh studio album – two years after putting out his last single, “Corazones Sin Romances”.
