The meteoric rise of the cartoon-styled Battle Royale game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout can in part be attributed to its record-breaking success on PS Plus. PS Plus is PlayStation’s online subscription service that gives subscribers access to free games every month. Publisher Devolver Digital (USA) revealed in a tweet that Fall Guys had become the most-downloaded PS Plus game of all-time during its time on the service in August 2020, beating out other monster PS Plus successes, such as Rocket League.
