The most medals won by a woman in Olympic shooting events is five, by Marina Logvinenko (née Dobrancheva, Russia), with two gold, one silver and two bronze medals from 1988 to 1996, and Kim Rhode (USA), with three gold, one silver and one bronze medal between 1996 and 2012. Logvinenko won gold, silver and bronze in the 10 m air pistol and gold and bronze in the 25 m pistol. Rhode won two golds and one bronze in the double trap and gold and silver in the skeet. Rhode's gold medal in the skeet at London 2012 on 29 July 2012 (achieved with a record-equalling score of 99 out of 100) not only gave her a female record-equalling fifth Olympic shooting medal but she also became the first American (in any sport) to win individual medals at five consecutive Olympics. In the qualifying competition for London 2012, Rhode hit 74 targets out of 75 - an Olympic record.
