The most runs in an MLB postseason single inning is 11 and was achieved by the Los Angeles Dodgers (USA), against the Atlanta Braves (USA) at Globe Life Field, Arlington, USA, on 14 October 2020.
In game 3 of the 2020 NLCS, the LA Dodgers hit 11 runs in the first innings against a Braves pitching staff that had seen a phenomenal postseason, only allowing one or zero runs in five of the six games leading up to game 2 of the series. The Dodgers went on to win game 3 15-3, held at the neutral venue of Globe Life Field in Arlington due to COVID restrictions.
Despite the Brave's pitching staffs miserly start to the 2020 postseason, this was the second time that they had given away 10 or more runs in a postseason inning both of which coming in the first innings of games. Pederson, Rios, and Muncy combined for 3 dingers in the inning, the most ever in the first inning of a postseason game.
