The most wins of the World Table Tennis Championships by a team (male) is 23, achieved by China between 1961 and 2024.
Also known as the Swaythling Cup, the men’s world team table tennis championship was instituted in 1926.
It was won by China in 1961, 1963, 1965, 1971, 1975, 1977, 1981, 1983, 1985, 1987, 1995, 1997, 2001, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2022 and 2024. China defeated France 3–0 in the final of the 2024 tournament on 25 February in Busan, South Korea, to claim their 23rd title.
