The youngest winner of the Wimbledon Ladies’ Singles title is Charlotte “Lottie” Dod (UK, b. 24 September 1871), who was aged 15 years 285 days when she triumphed at the Wimbledon Championships in London, UK, on 6 July 1887.

Dod defeated defending champion Blanche Bingley 6–2, 6–0 in the final to seal the first of her five Wimbledon titles. Martina Hingis (b. 30 September 1980) is the youngest Wimbledon women's singles champion of the open era (i.e., since 1967). She won the 1997 title aged 16 years 278 days.
