Longest runway military

The longest runway is at Edwards Air Force Base on the west side of Rogers dry lakebed at Muroc, California, USA, and is 11.92 km (7.41 miles) in length. The Voyager aircraft, taking off for its round-the-world unrefuelled flight, used 4.3 km (14,200 ft) of the 4.6 km (15,000 ft) long main base concrete runway.
