Oldest person to circumnavigate the globe by plane (male)

Fred Lasby (USA, b. 28 May 1912) completed a solo round the world flight at the age of 82 years 84 days in his single-engined Piper Comanche. Leaving Fort Myers, Florida, USA on 30 June 1994 he flew 37,366 km (23,218 miles) westwards with 21 stops, arriving back at Fort Myers on 20 August 1994.
