Rihanna (Barbados, b. Robyn Rihanna Fenty), Ariana Grande (USA, b. Ariana Grande-Butera) and Drake (Canada, b. Aubrey Drake Graham) are tied on six Best Collaboration nominations apiece at the MTV Video Music Awards. Grande is the only one of the trio to win the category, for “Rain on Me” (with Lady Gaga) in 2020; Rihanna and Drake joined forces for “Work” in 2016.
