Brian "Cub" Keene and James "Wilbur" Wright (both USA) drove their Chevrolet Blazer 14,534 km (9,031 miles) in reverse in the 37 days between 1 August and 6 September 1984. They passed through 15 US states and parts of Canada.
Though it was prominently named 'Stuck in Reverse', law enforcement officers in Oklahoma refused to believe it and insisted they drove in reverse reverse, i.e. forwards, out of the state.
