The youngest World Boxing Super Series winner is Naoya Inoue (Japan, b. 10 April 1993), who won the bantamweight division of the 2018–19 series on 7 November 2019 aged 26 years 211 days in Saitama, Japan.

Inoue became the fourth boxer to lift the Muhammad Ali Trophy after Oleksandr Usyk (cruiserweight), Callum Smith (super middleweight) and Josh Taylor (super lightweight). He knocked out Juan Carlos Payano on 7 October 2018 and Emmanuel Rodríguez on 18 May 2019 before overcoming Nonito Donaire on unanimous decision in a thrilling bout later awarded The Ring magazine’s Fight of the Year.
