Most hours viewed on Twitch for a videogame (single-day)

The most hours viewed for a videogame in one day on Twitch is 34 million, achieved by Valorant (Riot Games, 2020) on 07 April 2020, according to Twitch's own press statement.

One of the ways this figure was achieved was by Riot partnering with popular streamers on Twitch, such as Jaryd “summit1g” Lazar, Félix “xQc” Lengyel, and Imane “Pokimane” Anys, giving them access to the closed beta of the game. They were granted the ability to issue beta access keys at random to their viewers whilst they played the game themselves.
