It was confirmed in January 2020 that 18-year-old singer Billie Eilish (USA, b. Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell, 18 December 2001) had co-written and recorded the theme song to the 25th film in the James Bond franchise, No Time to Die, scheduled for release in April 2020 (since postponed to April 2021 owing to the Covid-19 pandemic). The track, titled after the movie, was penned by Eilish in collaboration with her brother, FINNEAS.


Sam Smith (b. 19 May 1992) was 23 when he co-wrote and recorded “Writing’s on the Wall” for the 2015 Bond film Spectre, while Sheena Easton (b. 27 April 1959) was 22 when she recorded the title track for Bond’s 1981 adventure For Your Eyes Only.
