When the comedy Little (USA) was released on 12 April 2019, its star and executive producer Marsai Martin (USA, b. 14 August 2004) was aged 14 years 241 days, younger than any other executive producer for a movie to come out of a major Hollywood studio. Distributed by Universal Pictures, Little tells the story of a bullying boss who becomes a child again and learns the error of her ways.
The idea for the movie came to Martin some four years earlier, when she was filming the TV series Black-ish for US studio ABC.
