The largest pom pom paper flower mosaic (image) is 350.5 m² (3772 ft² 108 in² ) and was achieved by YAMAHA MOTOR ENGINEERING CO.,LTD. at Hamamatsu Arena in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan on 11 November 2020.
The attempt was performed as a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the founding of the company and as an employee engagement activity. The mosaic design itself was created to symbolize the various fields of transportation company is active in: air, land, and sea.
