The highest outdoor infinity pool in a building is 293.90 m (964 ft 2 in) and was achieved by the Address Beach Resort (UAE), in Dubai, UAE on 24 March 2021.
The Address Beach Resort is built on the very last land plot on Jumeirah Beach Walk within Dubai Marina and is part of a resort developed by Al Ain Holding which consists of 217 hotel rooms and suites, 443 serviced apartments, and 478 residential apartments.
The 77th-floor rooftop infinity pool offers unsurpassed views across Bluewater’s Island, Palm Jumeirah, the World Islands, Dubai’s Dubai Marina Coastline, the Burj Al Arab and across the Arabian Gulf Sea.
The rooftop pool was completed in February 2020 and has a wet surface area of approximately 560 square metres. This consists of a swimmable pool zone of 409 square metres, a wet sunbed edge of 93 square metres and a sunken pod water feature area of 57 square metres. The pool volume is estimated at approximately 500 cubic metres. The swimmable portion of the pool is approximately 75 metres in length. The pool is 1.2 metres deep at its deepest point and 1.0 metres deep at its shallow end.
