Largest display of mussels au gratin is 22,050 and was achieved by Gruppo Bevanda Malamocco (Italy) in Malamocco, Venice, Italy on 22 July 2023

This was a new record title and the cultural association Gruppo Bevanda Malamocco has voluntarily involved the population of the small town (1,154 inhabitants) near Venice, having a pan prepared with 50 mussels au gratin for those wishing to participate. The mussels were provided by a sponsor and prepared according to the traditional recipe. Once the witness notary and I were ready for the count, we started the count. After two hours and a short check I was able to deliver the certificate.
