The largest collection of Pluto (Walt Disney) memorabilia consists of 1,516 items, achieved by Lora Petrak (USA), in Bull Valley, Illinois, USA, on 29 October 2020.

Lora has been collecting Pluto items for more than 30 years! She decided to apply for this Guinness World Records title to show the world how enthusiastic she is about Pluto and also the volume and variety of her collection.

The collection has more than 1,500 items and includes stuffed and mechanical toys, ceramic and plastic figures, rubber stamps, posters, pins, pens, clothes, clocks, phones, lamps, among many other objects.

For Lora, part of the fun of collecting Pluto is the challenge of finding just him, since his collectables are not as common compared to the rest of "Disney's fabulous five": Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy.

As the collection has grown, the hunting challenge has even rubbed off on family and friends who are thrilled when they find items she does not already have.

Her very first Pluto, in the mid-70s, was a hand-me-down rubber toy with one ear missing. With Disney stores' expansions in the mid-80s and the emergence of other retail outlet licensed merchandise, as well as online marketplaces, she began actively collecting items ever since!
