The fastest marathon dressed as a body part (male) is 3 hr 14 min 13 sec and was achieved by Michael Stallard (UK) at the Dublin Marathin in Dublin, Ireland, on 26 October 2025.

Michael decided to attempt this World Record to raise funds for bone cancer charities, motivated by his young niece’s battle with the disease in Dublin. “We have successfully fundraised over £12,000 for Sarcoma UK and The Bone Cancer Research Trust so far,” he stated.

Highlighting the personal significance beyond the race time, he added, “I was also able to high-five my niece and her dad just past the halfway point outside the Children’s Hospital in Dublin, so the attempt was about far more than just a time.

“I have run 3 previous marathons and the costume definitely slows you down (especially in the wind), but I was able to grind out a decent pace in the end and was delighted to take nearly 20 minutes off the record,” said Michael.
