The youngest winner of an IndyCar race is Colton Herta (USA, b. 30 March 2000), who triumphed at the IndyCar Classic aged 18 years 359 days on 24 March 2019 at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, USA.
Herta's record-breaking victory came in just his second career start. He is also the youngest IndyCar driver to start on pole – aged 19 years 84 days on 23 June 2019 at the REV Group Grand Prix at Road America.
