The first triple-double in gymnastics competition was performed by Simone Biles (USA), at the United States National Gymnastics Championships, in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, on 11 August 2019.

Simone Biles attempted the triple-double on the first day of the meet and didnt land it. Two days later on the final day of competition during her floor routine and on her way to her sixth all round title she landed the move and became the first female to do so.
