Roger Federer (Switzerland) won his 100th singles match at the Wimbledon Championships in London, UK, on 10 July 2019, beating Kei Nishikori to advance to the semi-finals. The Swiss ace has not missed an event since making his debut at SW19 in 1999 and has won the title eight times (2003–07, 2009, 2012 and 2017) – more than any other player in the history of the world’s oldest tennis tournament.


Federer reached a record 13th semi-final at the All England Club by defeating Nishikori on 10 July 2019. As of the same date, his win-loss record at Wimbledon stood at 100-12.
