The Largest audience at a campfire storytelling is 4,623 and was achieved by Sagar Ulhas Dhole Patil, Dhole Patil Education Society and Dhole Patil College of Engineering (all India), in Pune, Maharashtra, India, on 12 November 2025.

A special campfire storytelling event aimed at celebrating Maharashtra's rich historical heritage and creating a memorable experience for all participants. This outdoor occasion brought students and adults together to hear captivating stories around a warm and safe campfire. The sub-text story was about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, a revered king western India in the 17th century. The story lasted just over 18 minutes with the single campfire and the storyteller being visible to all the audience.
