Kirk Franklin (USA) crowned all five of Billboard’s gospel charts simultaneously on 15 June 2019. Franklin’s 13th chart-topper Long Live Love (Top Gospel Albums) and the tracks “Love Theory” (Hot Gospel Songs, Gospel Airplay and Gospel Streaming Songs) and “OK” (Gospel Digital Song Sales) contributed to the award-winning Texas native’s historic week.
Franklin had topped four Billboard gospel charts on 18 May 2019, matching The Voice finalist Koryn Hawthorne’s tally from 28 July 2018.
Gospel veteran Franklin has previously tasted success with chart-topping studio albums such as God’s Property from Kirk Franklin’s Nu Nation (1997), The Rebirth of Kirk Franklin (2002), Hero (2005) and Losing My Religion (2015).
