The fastest half marathon pushing a quintuple pram (male) is 2 hr 19 min 55 sec, and was achieved by Chad Kempel (USA) in Oakland, California, USA, on 20 March 2022.

This is Chad's third GWR attempt with his children. He has previously achieved records for fastest marathon pushing a quintuple pram (male) and fastest 10 km pushing a quintuple pram (male).

Chad explains that he had experienced a few push backs before the attempt "As we waited for the world to open back up, all aspects of life got progressively more challenging for my wife and I, raising seven children ages seven, five, and four year old quintuplets. We had every excuse to not go after the half marathon record and complete our GWR record trifecta but instead just focus on getting through these tumultuous parenting years.

However, Amy and I fought too hard to create this amazing family we have and she sacrifices and gives her all every single day for all of us. This was about having a great time running with my children, Amy cycling alongside us, and our older children and family greeting us at the finish line. One of the greatest days of my life."
