The longest chain of LEGO® minifigures is 69.70 m (228.67 ft) and was achieved by Tyler Recht and Team Rye Schools (all USA) in Rye, New York, USA, on 22 June 2025.
Tyler has always loved Guinness World Records and building with LEGO, so thought it would be really cool to try and break a record with his favourite things! The team used minifigures from his personal collection, as well as ones donated by people within the community and some even bought online just for the event.
In total 1,816 minifigures were used in the chain.
