“Jingle Bell Rock” by Bobby Helms (USA, 1933–97), the song originally released in 1957 that has now become a festive staple for nostalgic streamers each Christmas, logged 18,917,096 plays worldwide on 24 December 2024. Among solo male artists, Helms took the accolade from Harry Styles, who had posted 16,103,849 streams for “As It Was” on 1 April 2022.
