Belmonte defeated EJ Tackett 246–179 on 19 March 2023 to claim the PBA Tournament of Champions in Fairlawn, Ohio, USA – his 15th major. He is only the second bowler after Mike Aulby to complete the “Super Slam” of all five PBA major tournaments. Belmonte’s career majors are as follows: three Players’ Championships (2011, 2017, and 2022); four USBC Masters (2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017); four Tournament of Champions (2014, 2015, 2019 and 2023); three PBA World Championships (2017, 2019 and 2020) and one US Open (2020).
