According to figures published by Bloomberg's New Energy Finance Report 2018, there are 385,000 fully electric buses in operation with 99% (approximately 381,150 buses) in China, published on 29 March 2018.
More than 250,000 new energy buses accounted for nearly 40% of the total number of public cars in the country at the end of 2017, surpassing their 2020 scheduled target according to the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China.
