The Shanghai Dragons lost every single game during the 2018 Overwatch League season, ending 0–40. The inaugural OWL ran from 10 January 2018 to 16 June 2018, with the post-season from 11–28 July 2018. The losses continued into the 2019 tournament, which saw the Dragons lose 3–1 to Hangzhou Spark on 14 February 2019 and 4–0 to Vancouver Titans on 16 February 2019. The 42-match losing streak finally came to an end on 22 February. Big changes to the team’s line-up paid off with a 3–1 victory over Boston Uprising.
