Tsukune is a popular common food; usually found in yakitori restaurants, izakya or pubs, in Japan.

It is made of ground meat or fish, and usually includes breadcrumbs, soy sauce, salt, and other ingredients.

The attempt was mainly designed by high school students, who came up with an ingenious way to prepare & cook this very long item, which could have easily crumbled under its own weight during the attempt.

They overcame high daytime temperatures, and high winds to achieve the record.
