The most consecutive birdies by an individual in a professional golf tournament is 9, achieved by seven players: Mark Calcavecchia (USA) in his second round at the Canadian Open on 25 July 2009; James Nitties (Australia) during the opening round of the ISPS Handa Vic Open on 7 February 2019 in Geelong, Victoria, Australia; Amy Yang (South Korea), in the final round of the LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championship in Incheon, South Korea, on 18 October 2015; Beth Daniel (USA), in the second round of the Phillips Invitational Honoring Harvey Penick in Austin, Texas, USA, on 21 May 1999; Omar Uresti (USA) in the third round of the Web.com Tour 1994 Shreveport Open in Louisiana, USA; Rayhan Thomas (India) on the MENA Golf Tour’s Dubai Creek Open in the UAE on 12 September 2017; and Bronte Law (UK) in the third round of the Ladies’ European Tour Lalla Aicha Tour School in Morocco on 18 December 2018.

Bernd Wiesberger shot nine birdies in a row at the 2017 Maybank Championship in Malaysia on the European Tour, but this was using preferred lies owing to bad weather on the course and does not count as an official record. The same applies to Colin Montgomerie’s final round at the 2005 Indonesian Open.
