The most race wins at the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup in a season by a female skier is 17, achieved by Mikaela Shiffrin (USA) in 2018/19.
Shiffrin’s 17 victories comprised eight slalom, four giant slalom, three Super-G, one parallel slalom and one city event. She surpassed the previous record of 14, set by Vreni Schneider in the 1988/89 season.
In 2019, Shiffrin became the first skier to collect the overall, slalom, giant slalom and Super-G crystal globes (titles) in a single FIS Alpine Ski World Cup season.
