The most race wins at the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup in a season (male) is 13, achieved by Ingemar Stenmark (Sweden) in the 1978/79 season; and equalled by Hermann Maier (Austria) in 2000/01; Marcel Hirscher (Austria) in 2017/18; and Marco Odermatt (Switzerland) in 2022/23 and 2023/24.
Marco Odermatt won 13 races for the second consecutive season at the 2023/24 FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, making the podium 20 times in just 25 races. He became the first man since Hermann Maier in 2000/01 to win four crystal globes (overall, downhill, Super-G and giant slalom).
