Philip Rivers (USA) of the Los Angeles Chargers completed an NFL record 25 consecutive passes to start a game in a 45–10 win against the Arizona Cardinals (both USA) on 25 November 2018, surpassing the mark of 22 set by Mark Brunell of the Washington Redskins in 2006. Rivers completed 28 of 29 passes to also set a record for highest completion percentage in a game (96.6%).
