First sword in Fortnite Battle Royale

On 11 December 2018, Epic unsheathed the Infinity Blade, placing swords into the hands of Fortnite Battle Royale players for the first time. The sword, named for Epic's Infinity Blade (2010) videogame series for mobile devices, was a one-off item that bestowed upon its its wielder 200 health points, 200 shield points and the ability to jump further. The weapon was also deadly, with a single swing dealing 75 damage to opponents. In fact the sword proved so devastating in the hands of skilled players that it was pulled from Fortnite and vaulted (Epic's term for removing something indefinitely), just three days later on 14 December 2018.
