It took clan Redeem a colossal 18 hours and 48 minutes to clear the Last Wish raid, starting in the evening of September 14, 2018, concluded in the early hours of September 15. It was a glorious achievement, though shortly shadowed by controversy owing to a speed-running contest undertaken in early October 2018. Redeem’s 27 minutes and 20 seconds, uploaded to speedrun.com, on October 1, was very swiftly outdone by clan TheLegendHimself in 26 minutes and 22 seconds on October 7. The validity of clan TheLegendHimself’s record was challenged by Indica of clan Redeem, leading to a heated social media debate, comprising accusations regarding stated rules, between he and Slayerage of TheLegendHimself. Indica was subsequently fired from Redeem by his clan leader ModernTryhard, on October 8. The record now stands with clan Wrath who, on 27 November 2018, holds a time of 20 minutes and 58 seconds verified by speedrun.com. View it on YouTube. Bring popcorn.
