Horses are Arthur Morgan's main means of travelling around the vast American wilderness of Red Dead Redemption 2, but the cost and availability of the top breeds of steed depend a lot upon the player’s actions. The breed with the best stats on average is the Arabian, which comes in three varieties. A white Arabian can be tamed and acquired for free by a sufficiently skilled horseman. All Arthur has to do is mosey on over to Lake Isabella in the western Grizzlies area of the game’s map where such steeds can be found in the wild and get ready for some lasso wrangling. However the highest ranking Arabian horse In the main campaign, with unmodified Health and Stamina stats of 7 and 7, is the Rose Grey Bay Arabian. This mighty mount can only be purchased at the stables in the town of Blackwater, which are themselves inaccessible for much of the game. The price of the Rose Grey Bay is listed as $1250, but players with a high honour rating will receive a discount that knocks the price down to a mere $1125.

The cost/stats of the three breeds of Arabian breakdown thus:

Coat Type Handling HP STA SPD ACC Cost Rose Grey Bay Superior Elite 7 7 6 6 $1,250.00 White Superior Elite 5 5 6 6 $1,200.00 Black Superior Elite 6 6 6 6 $1,050.00

The White Arabian can be tamed for free after Chapter 2, while the Black Arabian is unlocked in chapter 4
