His first soundtrack was for 1982's Diner (USA), since which he has scored the music for hits such as Back to the Future (USA, 1985), Who Framed Roger Rabbit (USA, 1988), The Bodyguard (USA, 1992), The Polar Express (USA, 2004) and Captain America: The First Avenger (USA, 2011).
