According to The-Numbers.com, the most bankable director in Hollywood is currently Zack Snyder (USA), whose value to the movie industry was rated at $14,011,010 (£11,320,700) as of 1 April 2020. Snyder's eight films as director – including the DC superhero movies Justice League (USA, 2017), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (USA, 2016), Man of Steel (USA, 2013) and Watchmen (USA, 2009) – have grossed a total of $3,171,645,812 (£2,562,650,000) at the worldwide box office as of the same date.

Snyder's other movies as director, as of 1 April 2020, are Sucker Punch (USA, 2011), Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (USA, 2010), 300 (USA, 2007) and Dawn of the Dead (USA, 2004). He has also acted as producer or executive producer on titles such as Aquaman (USA, 2018), Wonder Woman (USA, 2017), Suicide Squad (USA, 2016) and 300: Rise of an Empire (USA, 2014).
