On 31 Aug 2018, Capcom marked Rockman’s (Mega Man’s name in Japan) 30th anniversary with the release of a 24-carat gold statue that cost 2.4 million Yen ($21,543; £16,549). A smaller, more “affordable” version cost 690,000 Yen ($6,193; £4,758).
