Fastest completion of Resident Evil 2's 'The 4th Survivor' minigame

The fastest completion of Resident Evil 2's 'The 4th Survivor' minigame is 1 min 58 sec 410 ms, and was achieved by 'Jikkachan' (Japan), on 6 December 2015.

The 4th Survivor mini game is unlocked after completing both Leon and Clare's scenarios with an A ranking. The player controls Umbrella operative HUNK, after his unit is attacked by the mutated William Birkin. HUNK wakes up as the only survivor soon before Raccoon City is set to be destroyed. Now in possession of the G-Virus sample, he must complete his mission by escaping with it by making his way to a helicopter.

There is also a parody version of this mini game where HUNK is replaced by a large piece of Tofu. Tofu goes through exactly the same environment that HUNK does, complete with HUNK's cutscene voice. Tofu is armed only with a knife and a few herbs, but he can also take more damage than human characters. Tofu will instead change color when he takes damage, going from white to blood red when on danger and dark pink when poisoned.

Whenever Tofu is attacked, he swears in the Kansai Japanese dialect, and when he is killed, he mutters "farewell" in Japanese. Ironically, things don't end up very well for Tofu, because HUNK is shown eating a part of him aboard the chopper in the ending FMV.

Jikkachan's record breaking run was done using HUNK rather than Tofu.
