Paola's purpose was to continue the project she had started during the fastest time to visit 48 contiguous US states by bicycle (female). During this journey she collected money to buy 73 bicycles for women in Karamoja (Uganda), while attempting the fastest crossing of Japan, she collected money to build a bicycle repair shop for women.
