The Monongahela Area Historical Society set this record title as part of their multi-day celebration of Monongahela's 250th Anniversary. The record-setting cookie table was part of the reception celebration for three marriage ceremonies and three vow renewals that occurred during the attempt. The elaborate display filled 140 tables, and included at least 1,308 distinct “plates” of cookies from hundreds of professional and home bakers. Any leftover cookies after the event were donated to 412 Food Rescue.
